Low Carbon Task Force - Exeter and East Devon Growth Point

The partnership was formally launched in May 2011 following a 6 month period of collaborative meetings and workshops that defined the early membership, scope and terms of reference.

All parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the launch event to formally recognise this collaborative and innovative partnership between the public and private sectors.

Principle Objectives :

•  Reduce energy consumption & energy costs
• Increase energy efficiency
• Seek continuous improvement
• Promote the transition to a low carbon economy
• Secure opportunities for business development
• Bring about additional benefits to the community
• Education
• Training 
• Job creation 
• Community engagement
