Overnight closures of A30 Westbound carriageway near M5 Junction 29

Road users are being advised of overnight road closures on the A30 westbound carriageway from Daisymount Junction to the M5 Junction 29 next week.

The road will be closed for surfacing as part of Devon County Council's on-going scheme to upgrade M5 Junction 29. In addition, the M5 Junction 29 southbound entry slip road will also be closed.

The closures will be from 8pm until 6am on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April. During the daytime the westbound A30 and M5 slip road will be open as normal.

A signed diversion for westbound A30 traffic will be put into place. This will be from Daisymount Junction via the B3180, Half Way Inn, A3052, A376, Junction 30 Sandygate Roundabout, Moto Roundabout, and Moor Lane Sowton to Moor Lane Roundabout.

Anyone wishing to join the A30 westbound at the Airport junction or the Blackhorse westbound on-slip will be diverted to Daisymount to follow the diversion towards Moor Lane Roundabout.

Those going to the Airport in the A30 westbound direction will also be diverted via the same route to Junction 30 Sandygate and Moor Lane to M5 Junction 29 to return eastwards via the A30. Access through the works will only be maintained for emergency services.

Further night closures of the A30 and M5 slip roads are anticipated in May.
